Anyone been out on Prior Lake?

A friend of mine was out yesterday for about 4 hours and only caught 2 small perch and 1 crappie. I don't know about ice thickness.

over 15" of ice, crappies were pretty good. there are a lot of houses out there.

Never made it out there.  Ended up going snowmobiling instead last weekend.  My uncle went on Saturday and got skunked.

Crappie fishing has been pretty slow on Prior. I have moved my house 4 times in the last week and the results are the same. Very few showing up on the vex. I have tried my normal spots and new spots from 20' to 37' with very poor results. The ice is 17" in most spots. Any suggestions becuase I am open to em...

I have had the same luck.  Drilled many holes and moved around quite a bit two times this week and had some lookers but they were not biting.  I tried both larvae (multicolored) and minnows on plain hook and on a jig and only caught one crappies in two days.  Hopefully it will get better.
