Wow... very nice find. I would love to watch him grow this year. Is he on your property? Do you have a chance at him? Ever seen him before?

Nope never seen him. But yes I can hunt but he is not on my property. The buck is actually a public land buck. Couldnt believe they were laying there no more them a 100 yards from the parking lot!!!!!!

Havent found a lot this year....

Here is my best and my worst find. The first one measures 53 inches without the G4 and the rest of the main beam. Found it broken suspended in the snow so I know it fell this year. I'm being liberal and adding another 10 inches which would make it 63 inches plus at least on the other side for a total of 126 plus spread we are looking at around a 140 inch deer, maybe more. Hopefully i can find him this summer.

I found #10 this year in Backbone State Park down near Arlington, IA.  Saw lots of deer, but likely was looked over many times already.

I should clarify.. My buddy Chad found this when we were out.

That'll be a nice deer next year.  It will be interesting to see what he looks like.

:deer:  That is a pretty thick rack - very nice size.

I AM EXCITED!   :woot:
I have never actually went out looking for sheds, so this will be my first year - I have stumbled across a few while I was out walking around in the slews during pheasant hunting.  I will be trying to get out this winter/spring to find a few.

Ditto, if you need any help with your land  ;D - I have eyes like a bat!
I havent seen the big boy since that last picture.... I have a feeling that after the rut he went back to his 'normal area' which I am not sure where that would be, but I have some ideas.  I have seem mostly does around now and a couple of smaller bucks.... Hopefully he didnt take a walk in front of a car  (but he wouldnt get that big being that stupid)
 :deer:
There is another 10 pointer that i will be looking for as well - and this mismatched 8 pointer (big left side, smaller right)!

Yeah for sure! Your more than welcome to come along... The more eyes and the more ground we cover the better. My only rule is if its one of my hit list deer and one I have history with I get to keep it. Other than that its all fun and fair game.  :happy1:

Thats a pile there!!! The most I have ever found was 8 in one day. I might have to put all the one I found last year in a pic just to get the blood going like your pic did to me

My 2011 New Years resolution is to find just one shed.  I have only found one by accident while hunting.  I want to actually go looking for some and get one this season.  Since I did not get to hunt nearly as much as I would have liked I am planning on going at least once a weekend until spring fishing starts.  Wish me luck.
