 :help:

I am getting out this weekend and thinking about going out to Prior Lake.  I have not been out to Prior for years.  I need some tips on where to fish.  Most likely looking for panfish, but if you know of any good Walleye spots - I will take those tips.

Also, what is the ice report?  Anyone driving out yet?

Let me know.  Thanks so much!

Westie

Good luck

Fish? Prior Lake? Maybe I should rephrase my question.... Why would you waste you time going to Prior Lake with so many other good lakes around.

ice is thick, 17"+, crappies are biting everywhere for the most part. Everyone says just go to the sportsman access. I've been fishing Spring, just to the south, less people, bigger fish.

I'm heading out tonight, and was out two days ago.  Fish are biting by the sportsman access and Sand Point.  Lots of little panfish there, some keepers.  I'm going to try somewhere else for crappies and hopefully some walleyes.
