Im not sure if you all heard, but a truck broke through the ice out on Pepin this weekend, looks like on Sunday.  It sounded like th driver was ok, just the front end of the truck dipped in the ice.  I was out there on Saturday, and there were trucks all over the place, it was about 14 inches there we were, but we went closer to shore and there was only about 8" (which seems to be about how thick it was then they went through)
I know you all are smart people, but just wanted to give a heads up, it looks like in most places the ice is starting to thin out a little!
BE SAFE GUYS!  :happy1:

Some people are nuts, they were driving their trucks across Pepin to the Wisc. side, hell, I would never even think about doing that, seems a little unsafe to me!

Just dont be the one it happens to  :happy1:
Thats why I try to walk wherever i need to be, granted I fish near shore so i can get away with doing that.  I never trust lakes and rivers, you never know where there could be a sping or change in current.
