2010 MNO Smack Down

It's been a long hard road in search of a final 2010 Fishing Challenge victory. Therefore I've decided to have a team meeting including some of our team supporters. The theme of the meeting was enthusiasms. After making my point to the team members it's been decided to refocus or efforts.

       My money is on Borgies team for 3rd  place.  She pulled out the bat 1st.

If you would watch The Factor on Fox News more often you would have noticed that Bill O' Riley always closes with a word of the day. The word defugalty had been used as the closing word in the past and you could have looked it up then. So don't be a pinhead!

    I will give the General credit.  He, at least waited until he saw he could not win before quitting.  The other young guys quit when the season started.  Team dream crushers is preparing our acceptance speeches.  If need be we will be on the water on Oct. 31 to set the all time total for the fishing challenge.   Team slippin in the grease has done a great job and raised the bar pretty high.   I don't think the top eye or bass will hold.  Good luck to everyone that is still trying.  To the others- We be rollin       you be hatin.

I can tell it is frustrating for the Dream Crushers. Being stuck not being able to grow their total length to more than 4 1/4 ". It could happen though with the advances in new fishing technology.
 Some of the best big fish landing of the year comes during the last leg of the challenge. Frog run walleyes baby! See ya on the water.

Don't look now, but it seems as if were seeing some movement from the Team Eye Candy camp. There seems to be a spark of life left coming from somewhere. Are they trying to rise from the ashes of 11th place? Stay tuned as their leader The General attempts to come up with a scam scheme to redeem this stumbling teams honor.

Well I just found out that the General has posted a small northern not big enough to be canned but big enough to be scored.    Along with his walleye I have gone down in defeat in our side bet.

 Sitting here at the Lodge I have ordered a frosty mug of Hamms and tip my glass so to speak to the General. I will now return the General to the Smack Chat as he will no longer be distracted by the side bet. I will wager that he creamed his jeans when he put the measuring stick to that little northern and figured out he had won, although he will come on here and say the thought of not drinking a Hamms is a reward in it's self.

I'm glad to see BB losing more gracefully over here and not posting a bunch of excuses.  I'm just hoping BB doesn't wimp out on next years challenge.  You can send the dollar to my favorite charity, Bobby Bass Challenge Fisherman Fund.  Maybe buy a couple Lindy rigs and learn how to catch a walleye (a real fish).

Na Lee, Bow opener starts Saturday and my last day of fishing was in August.  I just waited to post the northern in September at a chance to win that $50 gift certificate to Auggie for a future mount.  I did what i could for my team this year.  I just hope the same can be said by my teammates.  One never knows what comes up in life that may not allow others to enjoy the fishing challenge like I do.

Lee, I just checked the Leader board and saw I was in 9th place.  If I remember right we give out a prize for 10th place and I was hoping for that.  However i see HD's son (Great kid) is in 10th place so I feel better.  Did anyone donate Big Buck Hunter lessons?  Because he could really use them.
