I may try a lucky little pond I know of later this week.  The crappies are pretty nice in there, they are just so hard to catch because you cant cast in their little niche from the shore.  The sunnies are plentiful, just not the size of the crappies.  SOME REALLY NICE BASS TOO, I saw a HUGE one last year, but it wouldnt bite, Im going to get her this year.  A good 6+ pounds.  Very surprised it was in such a pond.  Must be deep in the spots i cannot cast to.

I have tried a couple times in a channel. No crappies yet seen a few gills caught on wax worms. Water is still real cold. I did get an 18" large mouth last night.

I'll be pounding the crappies tomorrow after work.  Buddy has been out and found them.  Nice to have friends that share.   ;D

The boy and I went to Rush to fish in the park........

We only caught several small perch, but it was fun just to be out.

The shores were lined with people, and 25 to 30 boats in the main bay.
I guess they had the bug too!
