I put a camera on video last year and it ate the batteries so fast I have never done it again? Do you find this happening with your cam?

I have a moultrie 4.0 and it is great on batteries.  usually get about 8000-9000 pics per set of batteries.  I didn't notice the batteries getting eaten by the video.  The camera that was set to video lasted just as long as the 2 other cams.
