Well I headed out to a honey hole probably closer to you Jeff then to me.  I caught a 19 incher and a nice crappie.  My dad caught a 17, 22, 24, and a 26 in Walleye.........Most of those were released and none were used by me for the challenge. I'm just to dang honest. :happy1:

First time I ever fished on opener. Will probably be the last. Got no walleye 1 small pike and 2 bass. So nothing for the challenge or the pan. Kind of a wasted day really so nice out should have been getting other things done.

I'm up fishin now, since I was turkey 'hunting' on saturday. Went out last night and caught 2 walleyes, both around 15", I've mostly been targeting panfish, caught about 15 sunnies yesterday, all between 8-10" and I also caught an 12" crappie! Tonight is the night to get that big walleye, or atleast a few smaller ones!

my opener was awesome, we boated about 24 walleyes between the 3 of us. 2 being trophy fish, and we kept our limit. also caught a few small pike, and did some panfishing on friday and caught and ate a whole mess of them. with gorgeous weather and i have never had the big pond be so calm ever.
