More phenomenal fishing this past week!  We had charters out every day and there has been great success.  Anchor and jigging or drifting with spinners has been doing great.  Fishing just outside the lighthouse gap has been providing constant action with 14 inch Walleye, a little deeper and the average size goes up.  Lots of big Walleye caught again this week!

We are hoping that this year will provide another great hatch.  Although the water is low there was a lot of spawning traffic in the river earlier this year and the water temp continues to climb.  Those factors in addition to slow current in the river should contribute to a great hatch.

Water temperature is now at 63 degrees.  The forecast for this week starts off with possible thunderstorms but Wednesday shows that we are back in the summer mode with highs in the 80’s and lows in the 50’s.
