I drew a muley tag in north west wyoming for end of sept. early oct.. we're packing in on mules and I have limited space. I want to pick up a new sleeping bag and a water filtration pump? I've shopped around and come to the conclusion I don't know enough about either of these items (last sleeping bag I used was a gift from the army it was big and I was usually in ball soup all night). I've done some comparison at the local shops and on line.. and now I just don't know.

Congrats on drawing a tag.  I haven't back packed out there yet, but I have a couple buddies who have.  I will ask around.  I am located 10 miles from Wyoming (western SD).

Have fun out there Beeker!  Hit REI for a filter if ya still need one, they have a bunch to choose from, yeah there are many models out there, with very different price tags, My advice would be: dont get the cheapest unit, but get one that has the cheapest replacement filters.... :happy1:
