I saw on channel 9 news today that thieves broke into Mr. Foyles Vehicle last night at a Ramsey hotel.  Mr. Foyles vehicle is clearly marked with all kinds of logos.  He was in town for Game Fair.
Items stolen-gps, several Benneli shot guns, some calls and a lanyard covered in duck bands.  That is the item that Mr. Foyles is the most sick about and is offering a 5000 $ reward for its return.  No questions asked.   I believe it belonged to a freind of his.

I hope they nail these pukes. :banghead: :banghead:

But I lost all respect for Jeff after Falling Skies up there in Canada... I feel no sympathy. Don't think I need to explain it...

I'm curious what happened?

Do you represent a call company as well?

Thanks

Last time I checked us waterfowl hunters were all on the same 'team.'  I would cry for days if I had my bands stolen. Sucks for Foiles.
Where I'm from calling, flagging and decoying are just basic skills and the kids will do a little guiding just to pay off some bills.

I agree.  I have heard it was 3 full lanyards.  Makes me want to :puke:  and they were not even mine.  Thats 45 years of hunting history stolen.   :banghead:

Ya know this type of thing happens more than we know,I travel all over the country either hunting, fishing or shooting, guys that exploit their trade always have issues, its like waving a flag pulling a trailer with hunting gear logo's all over it or a pro fisherman with his name and # and sponsors all over the rig and truck, times are tough, more thievery now than ever before, even last winter truck stops between Alex and Fargo were known hotspots for guys losing ice houses and gear traveling to and from NoDAK,shooters that travel and shoot well have gun names, ammo brands and such lose gear all the time, even in small towns throughout the western states have issues with duck boats being stolen, decoys and shotguns.

Its a good idea to keep a low profile these days, always book a room you can see from your room or better yet you can park in front of.

Lesson's learned~

Not sure what Jeff did in canada either?Fill us in~

Yes i do own and repesent a call company, i am out at game fair as well as flyway is.

I am not one to call people out Tyler, but if you have a problem with what Jeff did why dont you go talk to him and get the feeling put to the side. Jeff is a Respected buisnessman and if you ever want to be, dont say bad thing about other that may give you a Bad name.

Now my curiosty is up. Is this about a poaching infraction?  If so just because you make calls are you immune to scrutiny?

Yeah, I agree.

Sorry for the statements above. It is a lot of history and more so the memories gone.

Tyler

I wouldn't be sorry. Not at all.

I saw a comment in this thread about all waterfowlers being in the same team and that made me

I'm a deer hunter and thats what I love to do. I also produce a hunting show and i'm surrounded by deer hunters constantly, thats all I do. I don't care if you shoot a bow, cross bow, rifle, slug gun, muzzle loader, traditional.... And I don't care how you do it, if its legal to bait in your state than so be it, if you like deer drives than have fun. As long as you are following the laws of the land that you hunt then you are  :happy1: in my book.

Once you break the law then you are NO LONGER ON MY TEAM. Simple as that.

I don't need to be on the same team as someone to have empathy. Having something taken from you that means something to you sucks. I know what your saying Tim, but at the same time it is ok to sepperate the 2 situations and say they "BOTH" are bad and should never have happened.

I just wanted to make that one point about "teams". Who knows if its even true. I do know that there was a theft and for that I feel horrible. I sincerely hope that he gets his property back and the thieves burn in hell. I hate thieves. I have no comment on Jeff as a person, don't know him and thats about that.

I for one do not feel bad about the guy having his stolen bird bands stolen.  And yes I have a great suspiscion that the waterfowl bands were acquired by poaching which classifies them as stolen property to begin with.

I got a hell of a theory behind that lanyard being stolen. But won't say anything unless I'm PMed.

The more I think about this, the more it makes me  :censored: sick.  Here's a guy, who enjoys the outdoors as much as me, yet pulls this  :censored: and gives hunters a bad name.  I don't care if you're a small time company or a big corporation, thanks for putting us in a bad light.
