the place is full of guys and gals fro Iowa,Illin,Ind and they are catching alot of 11-14 crappies with some 15 and 16 inchers. One lucky 13 yr old girl is got 3 crappies going to the shop and in 6 weeks will be hanging on her wall for all her friends to see. Lucky girl.... northerns are very active early morning and seem to sure like 5 of dimonds.fishing has been hot all summer and fall is looking good. We had a special guest fish our lake 3 days in a row she is one of the best women bass pros in the usa her name is Janet that all I will tell you. she loves our lake and said she agrees with are sign above the bar....you cant catch fish on our lake sell your boat...   she did very well

Wouldn't be Janet Parker would it? Real nice gal, met her at Cabelas while shopping a few weeks ago, probably was on her way up to you.

Thanks for the update, wish I could come out and hook into some crappies and northerns, sold my boat, what you guys get for a daily or half day rental on a boat/motor?

Made it up there to do some fishing today !! What a nice place with good food.  Thanks for all the pointers and info on some spots to fish.  We had a blast caught a ton of northerns and a few bass and a few nice crappies to end the night.
