The cool north winds greeted our 2 guide boats as we headed out on the lake Saturday morning at 7 a.m. with high hopes of putting fish in the boat.   The water temp was at 60 degrees.   The bite was a bit slow but turned on as the day went on.   We continued to pull lead using 3 to 4 colors at a trolling speed of around 2 mph.   Guide, John Hau, cooked up some fresh walleyes for the shore lunch which was a big hit with the group.   We trolled on till 6 p.m. and had a great day on the water.

On Sunday my wife Patty joined me to whack a box of 8 walleyes in 3 hours pulling lead.
How long is this bite going to last?   Only the fish Gods can answer that.

Good luck, be safe and we'll see you on the water!
