weeded out enough for two limits today. Daughtor is now take them off the hook and putting on her own minnow. Giveing Dad more time to fish. She still out fishes me oh well least she and I are spending time together. We were out from 11:30 to 3:30 caught 3 times are limit but after sorting ended up with 20 good ones with one at 11 inches

I took a buddy and the little man out fishing the last two evenings.  Last evening we landed 4-6 inch perch by the dozens (all tossed back).  The kid had fun but not what I was looking for.  We moved 50 yards tonight and Bingo.  We kept our limit and my son pulled up fish so fast he didn't have time to eat the food he packed.

I tried something different today....
I fished a lake that I haven't fished for a while looking for some eyes. Fishing with a buckshot and minnow head, all I could come up with was some very nice 10 inch perch. When I went shallow, all I could find was some very small sunfish.

So, I went to a different lake, jigging for some larger bluegills....and did better. Medium sized gills and average sized crappies. This time I just fished outside, moving around quite a bit to keep on fish. Orange and yellow glow marmooska with a waxie.

Today, me and the boy met up with DareDevil and Icebanger for an afternnoon of fish'in.

The bite was real tuff today. Nothing was slamm'in baits like before. Real light...sometimes too light. We started fishing around 11:30, and fished till 5 or so. DD got a few...and Banger got a few more. Not sure on the counts.....

The boy fished in the house to keep warm, while I hole hopped.....minnows caught a few, but not many. We ended up with our limit, but we worked for um...

Either way...I got to b.s. while I fished....so it was a great time!

the bite where i was very light in the morning could not even seen it so we switched to minnows and caught some but in the afternoon they were chasing em

Just got home and waiting for the battery on the camera to charge.  The bite was really nice for a Superbowl evening.  The kids, wife, and I spent the day on the lake.  The little man went to bed right away, but the daughter is waiting up to get some pictures taken.  Be back with the pictures after I get done cleaning fish.

The 2 biggest crappies.  1 is just over 14 inches and one just under 14.  The kids had a blast catching was none stop all day long.  Most of the perch were MT's trophy size and could be had by the dozens as soon as the bobber hit the water.    It has also been a while since the pics have been taken off the camera so I through in the wife's first buck she as taken ever that she got this year.  Happy viewing.

What's that saying :scratch: something about pigs flying.  She tells me she cooks them and I can live with that.  I'm going to hate the day the boys find out my little girl baits her own hook (with any bait) and takes her own fish off.  I know when I found that I married her. :happy1:

The MT perch I can guarantee all day long.  The crappies are just an evening/night bite.  I just moved the house to the new spot yesterday.  I hope it holds up.  HD you and the young lady are welcome any time.    MT if you are willing to drive this far for 4-6 inch perch during the day any time I'm around.
