Got A Few....

Well, me and the boy hit the lake for some panfish. We ended up catching our limit of Crappie and 7 Bluegills. 18 feet of water, wax worms on orange and yellow marmooskas. There was a consistant 6 inches of ice. We walked about 3/4 of a mile to get to the spot we wanted to fish, but, well worth it......

We got out last Friday afternoon, one flag, one fish. 

It has been kinda slow, but still fun to get out!

Me and a buddy hit the ice with his son. Fishing in 19 feet of water, using moon glows, marmooskas and demons. (all in glow colors) Fished from noon till 3:30 and caught our limits of Crappie's. Tipped with wax worms and red magots. The ice was poor, 10 inches of ice,with 12 inches of snow. There was water on top from the wieght of the snow. There were a few driving thier full sized trucks out...but we walked (I don't like the thought of getting my truck out of 20 feet of water) 

Sure, it's paid for...but, I like my truck to much! 

Not monsters...just good eaters....

I live out in the sticks...so, the closest city would be Cambridge...or Mora...

I fish alot of lakes around that area. (I'm getting ready to head out for the "night bite" now)

And I think Fawk, The General and Icebanger are planning something in January  just don't know when.

We tried something a little different today...we tried the evening crappie bite.
It was A LOT slower than the afternoon bite, but still managed to catch a few.
This time we fished in 25 feet of water with glow demons tipped with wax worms.
We fished for 3 and a 1/2 hours, but only iced 12 keepers.

But, that's fish'in (otherwise, they'ed call it catching)
