Yesterday morning about 10 am or so I had a big 8 pointer run out in front of me in the middle of Inver Grove Heights.

Other then that, I see nothing but Turkeys everywhere.

I'm seeing anywhere from 20 to 40 every night and morning in the fields at my place here. They seem to be herded up good now.

I'll be checking a few spots for tracks Sat./Sun. a.m. to see where the deer are yarding up. Hopefully they are in same spots as previous years. I have good intentions of harvesting another doe.

We have 17" of standing snow or more, so they shouldn't be far from food and very predictable.
Marry an outdoors woman. Then if you throw her out into the yard on a cold night, she can still survive.

Saw a few hitting a cut corn field right at dusk.  Gotta find food in this snow pack and you'll tag out.
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

i see about 18 evert morning in our sorgum(sp) fields at work. then there back out in them at around 1ish until dark. so they are very active and are grouped up in groups of 6. seen a few bucks, only one with impressive head gear though. im going to check the oats we planted in our new area and see if they are getting hit at all, im sure there getting pounded though
