Ok I am walking out from my stand tonight As I get to the road a guys stops I kinda know who he is He let my shed hunt his lamd last winter but wouldnt let me bow hunt it. Well to my surprise he told me I can go shoot a deer out there is I want sounds great right?? But the issue is the field they are using has nothing for cover. So would you set up a ground blind and put a white sheet over it or find the spot where there entering the field and dig a hole in the drift only bad thing about that is I will be sitting just on the other side of the ditch from the road is that even legal to sit that close to the road?? When I drove by there just before dark I could see 75+ deer in the field already with a number of them walking right down the tar road to get to the field WHAT TO DO!!!!!

Well... why don't I come out there and help you. We'll put our heads together and figure it out.  ;)

Seriously I would try and set up near where they are coming out. Use a ground blind if you can and play the wind. Make sure your scent is not blowing where they are coming from and surely not into the field! Sounds like tough spot!!

Would you put a white sheet over it or something since obviously the ground is completely white??

The field is about as white as can be with all the snow next best thing is a fence line that runs along the field but then its ditch then tar road not a very well traveled road though it only goes to the park which is closed they walk right down it then cross through the ditch to the field

I'd go with a white sheet.  I'm not even sure I would drag a ground blind out; bring a small chair and a white bed sheet.  Heck, I'd even consider a field layout blind with a white sheet.  Angle it on top of a drift and when they clear you, slowly open both doors and aim.
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

I would also go the route of a ground blind with a snow cover (white sheet) over the top.
It cuts down on visable movement and keeps you a little warmer then sitting out in the elements. If you could dig the blind in the side of a snowbank that would be a plus too.

A buddy of mine had a day off work last week. No crap, he built an igloo by shoveling a bunch of snow onto an already established snowbank.....then dug it out from the backside and carved a 8 inch by 8 inch hole to shoot through. All he wore was warm clothes with a white sweatshirt and facemask. Then again it took him about three hours and he had all day.....

I would go the route of blind with a white sheet over it right on top of where they feed. As stated, make sure your wind is good...
