Lake Winnipeg is a lake with No structure...so no specific spot to fish...fish shallow early am go deeper later, move if the fish arent there.   March is when its the best, fish congregate prespawn around the limestone beaches.  If anyone is interested pm me I know the guide that has the most experience on the lake.  Not a bad idea if you havent been there, plus he usually knows where the baitfish are. 
Fished ND and SD this weekend on Lake Oahe...kind of slow on saturday.. I went on a trip trying to find the motherlode but didnt succeed.  Caught 4 eyes total  here is a pic of the biggest caught just before we quit...rap jigging shad tipped with minnow...24 ft of water. 6" of snow today with wind prevented getting out.

24" walleye, Flash on camera didnt work..

Nice Job! The daughter and I were out tonight and bagged 15 crappies and one was 13.5 inches.  I'll post up some pictures Monday.  We are heading out fishing this weekend so hopefully I can had some more to the Monday list.
