2011 Fishing Challenge Smack Down

    The Seals are done.  General headed for the hills.  Outdoors can't scrounge up enough quarters for bait.  Bobby got his foot stuck in the hammock.  We may not hear from him again until spring.  With all the thinking he has been doing about fishing he hasn't even come up with a fish sandwich from McDonalds.  Wildlife we will get out again this fall.   I would like you to take the pic that topples the seals into 4th.

  Yup I will just keep laying down the tease about fishing, waiting my time to post a few fish from time to time, More fun that way, give you guys a reason to check the board to see where you end up at...

Wow we see who was fishing and who was   I see HD son make a move pass DDS with a 70 .75 there seem to be a   in the mid of the lead board!! You all are slipping all over seal poo when you get up here the air smell great with blue sky

     This is getting interesting.  I picked you guys(Seal Turds) for an easy fourth place finish.  The young HD just jumped into the mix and last years MVP has not said a word yet.  I'm thinking the general finishes with another solid 10th place finish.  Too bad for GO and BB.  At this point in the challenge-Borgies raiders are in 2nd and all other teams are tied for 3rd.  No other team has a winner fish\ let alone 3.  Barbarians can't lose.  There is no possible way.  If they did it would be the biggest choke of the century.  (I suggest you Barbarians take in a big gulp of air).

    Hey GO,  Dan told me about the problem you have been having finding fish.  I know being there everyday can get you into a rut.  I know the Borgersen's go there for a week and did some serious damage.  I kind of feel  for you.  It's your first year in the challenge and you tossed up a couple of tomatoes. Your partners have left you high and dry.  At this point you will not be able to find a white spinnerbait let alone one with MNO on it.  Next year you may draw Borgie as a teamate and I'm sure she will teach you a few things.  (make her check the bat at the dock).   It's time to put the boat away for you.

Borgie told me before we arrived in Ely (G.O.'s backyard) that she just wanted to kick G.O's butt and go to the fortune bay casino. She got her wish and kicked G.O.'s butt.   Unfortunatly the casino kicked her butt! That 3/4 inch lead over the seals may as well be 10 inches because it's so far out of reach for the poos

As The Barbarians are in the 90s I will say it been  watching poo head look over his shoulder!! as all the other team move in to take down the seal poo!!

GreatOutdoors it sure is fun to be out fishing when all of the folks on here are making excuses. We held first place for weeks, got passed but I don't see anywhere where any one from Team six made any excuses. We just comment that we will regain first before the challenge ends in two months. Rather then hope to hang on we are fishing the best time of the year. Last night I was out fine tuning some lures and landed 15 northerns and a half dozen bass. Water is starting to cool and fishing is picking up but all I read here is about what teams are going to do to us but have not done yet. I don't see us in tenth place I see us an inch out of second, one at a time, just stepping stones to the top...    Lee and Borgie are both done just sitting home looking at their fishing pictures. DDS is looking for someone to take him fishing and Big Slick, MIA again. Wild is looking for another big fish, running scared cuz he knows what he has is not going to be enough.  All the rest are talking ice fishing challenge because all they can do is catch bait or they would have fish entered in the REAL challenge here.... the one to watch is Ken, what has he been holding on to?

Lost two pike myself yesterday next to the boat that chomped the line above the leader, one of which would have put us in second place. (I have fixed that problem this morning)
The smallie, barring my alzheimers moment, would have already had us there.
Does SEALTeam 6 dwell on what might have been, coulda/woulda/shoulda???
Nope, we just bear down harder, which will make our Challenge 2011 win even more satisfying.
(well that, and Wilds being carted off to the asylum when it happens)

Well, here we go again with the   stories

These boys from the seal poos are running out of stories. Greatoutdoors is scrapping the bottom of the barrel with the " one that got away and broke my line story".

Meantime Bobby has choosen the "You should have been here yesterday approach"  If you don't mind me asking Bobby, where did you post the upgrade photos from yesterdays 15 northerns and half dozen bass?    No doubt you caught those fish but would enjoy seeing those monster upgrade shots

As you can see folks nothing has changed for the seals except they have one less day to produce some fish large enough to enter in The Challenge

Now tell me what wrong with night-crawlers or for that fact live bait,  You make it sound like we are braking the laws!! There nothing in the rules that said you can't not use live bait, 
Just because you do not!! dose not mean other can't  and this is why your are losing!! 

If you think by put live bait on and it dose all the work  I think by using live bait you have to work harder to catch fish!! As for one you have to set the hook!! 

Just to put a lures on cast or troll around a around in tell somthing hit it and set it own hook!! please how hard is that!! That the laze way!!

31" walleye live minnow with DDS jig!! 
22" bass plan hook tip with a live leech!! 
39.25 and 40" a plane hook tip with a live sucker minnow !! 
That what give your leader The Barbarians... 93 As all three are the biggest in this  Fishing Challenge!! 

As to seal poo on a secret mission...... You would never send him!!

    As far as my team is concerned we haven't moved at all.  We are not in first.  To us that is all that matters.  I am working on some big fish baits right now.  They are looking good in theory.  I will be testing them shortly.
