I do like how you think your fishing team will take your team name, I have to take a drink everytime someone tells me that I could get on a team with you. I would not mind fishing with you for real, It would allow me to catch another limit of fish.

A couple of "Old" men were standing in the water along a stream eyeing the quiet bend in the river. Wearing well worn waders with round black patches they looked through a collection of hand tied flies made over the long winter. Behind them they heard a loud crack of a breaking branch followed by the heavy footsteps of the General running down the slope. He paused at the edge of the river before yelling out " I'm going catch me some fish!" He then jumped in the river. He quickly disappeared from view.

" Bobby, you think we should have told him we are standing on a rock?" Said Lee

"To late now" Bobby replied, to that he added, " Say Lee, what you say the two of us go and catch us some fish" Lee winking said. "Let's take our time and catch them all!"

and again BB that guy your trying to make fun of out fished you.  All while making time to go for a swim, drink a few beers, watch the ladies at the beach, take some pictures.......heck I barely made time to fish and still stomped a mud hole in yah.  *BB goes back to eating the soup I sent him last year, compliments of Eastwood's bad arse school for the brave and smart*

I'm going to volunteer to draw the team pairings for this year.  I wouldn't be surprised if I accidently paired up Bobby and General .  That I'd love to see. You never know folks.

Yes, picking teams will be interesting,    I think we will have to out scource it to someone trustworthy,    honest,    dependable,  unbribable beyong the thought of any kind of an arrangement...  Hmmmm    I think we are screwed

Really I mean really. You Whoop my ass.. Yes you won our short little challenge. Of course we had to make it short cuz you could not fish once the beer got cold in the boat. I seem to remember a lot of video's with a lot of fish caught by me. I also seem to rememer saying that you won fair and square but as I also promised you would keep bring it up cuz you are just that kind of guy.

Funny how me being a past champion means nothing as you have said repeately that is old news. But you winning our head to head mini challenge is o so very important to you. Care to make a little side bet for this year? A challenge that goes the entire length of the 2011 challenge? Just me and you General not our teams. I'll wager a find hand rolled cigar, something for you to choke on !

Well WLM and his team beat my team last year by what under an inch and he has the joy of smacking me around for that and I don't come unglued about it.  It's all in fun.  But my advice would be if you can't take it don't dish it.  I mean dang you started this whole thread by taking a shot at me, which is fine I rather like it.

   No side bets boys.  At least not until I can't see your name on the leader board without scrolling down.     (that should not take too long).   You guys should not worry about winning.  Just try really hard not to finish last.

Funny how me being a past champion means nothing as you have said repeately that is old news.

2008 is old news + I think our team even manged to finish in second, not the middle of a corn field (but it could of well have been because second is just the first place loser).  Even the Packers get a year to be called the champs and talk about it.

My worst nightmare is to wind up on the same team as my wife.   may start to demand control of the tiller. We would be in competition for the same fish for the same team. If she out fishes me she could steal all my thunder and may be recognized as the lead person on my team.

Not only that, but wherever she goes, so goes the team name Borgies Raiders. I just can't vision myself on a team named Borgie's Raiders. I was wondering if I could get special dispensation regarding a husband and wife being on the same team? Most of you guys know where I'm coming from I'm sure. Can anyone out there come up with any loopholes that I could use just in case?

      Lee, you would be lucky to have her as a teammate.  As would any of us.  I would be happy to fish on the Borgie's Raiders team.  I see a victory in the near future for the Raiders.  She may not rub it in everyday for a year but if I'm on her team I might just be up to the task.

I just noticed that greatoutdoors (Jim Maki) signed for the 2011 fishing challenge. This will be his freshman year so let's all welcome him to the smackdown thread boys'. Almost forgot he sent me a photo of some walleye he caught years ago. Well, that was then and this is now. The pressure is on now son. There is no looking back to yesteryear!
