I'll be there from Friday through Saturday. I may be working a booth there in the morning on Saturday and I'm running the weigh in tent during the contest. When you are weighing your fish or if you see me on the ice, say hi.

By the way, we still need some ice drillers for this and you get a free fishing ticket if you drill. I also need a couple more volunteers to help in the weigh in station.
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.

I'm a big dude in a camo suit. I should be around the weigh in tent most of the day. If you see me, come and say hi. Word has it that I have some Thorne Bros discount cards that I may be handing out!!

Hell yeah i'm going!  After the fun we had last year i wouldn't miss it!  I'm hoping for some better luck this year.  I lost a bite and somehow one of my buddies got his line cut while using an 18 inch leader.  Maybe i'll stop by the weigh in booth prior to tourney starting otherwise i'll keep an eye out for you if i run a fish up.  My name is Brandon BTW.

I doubt it has any effect on it at all.  The rules state :

2. Should inclement weather cause cancellation, the tournament will be held on February 27th, 2011. Official cancellation notices will be posted at www.icefishingforestlake.com

I doubt snow is one of those things that could cancel it unless we got like 18 inches the day before.

I just spoke with Jim, the guy that puts it all together, last night. The snow won't affect anything. There are roads that get plowed for it and will probably be done on Friday. After that if we get some snow it will just be traction, unless we get dumped on. Ice is still very thick. Everything is a go.

This year we've added a 12' x 9' jumbo tron to it. I wrote some programs to keep the weights updated. I'll probably be in the truck for that during the weigh in but I should be meandering around before and after the event.
