Amsoil?

   Is all the hype true.  I have heard a lot of good stuff about this product but have not made the switch yet.  Anyone use it in their augers?     Are there engines that you should not use it in?

The 2 cycle oil is great, I wouldnt use the 4 cycle oil though.

I've ran the Amsoil Sabre for the last 3 years.  I mix it 80:1.  When Ice season is over I run it in my weed trimmer at the same mixture.  I'd use it for the way it cuts the smoke down alone.

I have no experience with it myself but I know guys who are religious about the stuff and run it in everything they own; augers, mowers, trimmers and cars/trucks. Let us know what you decide/find out.

I run it in every single one of my Toys from 2 stoke to 4 stoke. I am one of those religious guys when it comes to that. I use to run valvoline in my 4wheeler, I made the switch right after i sunk it, With the valvoline it smoked horribly and with the amsoil in it the smoke was cut down alot and now with the rebuilt motor i swear it does not smoke at all. I have also noticed that it doesnt seem to break down as fast as other lubricants i have use. It can be a good dent in the pocket but you really get what you pay for...

I have used for 15 yrs now and have had nothing but good results. Use in my auger sled and boat also leaf blower weed whacker etc... It is more money but I am positive it is better than most oils. I would say it does cut down on the smoke alot. DDSBYDAY if you make the switch you will not be sorry.

I just bought a snowmobile this year and have been using Amsoil Interceptor.  I think I buy it buy the gallon at the store.  What is the cost from you AmsoilGuy?  Charge for shipping?

Ran amsoil in my cavalier since I bought it new in 2005.  Changed the filter every 5,000 miles and oil every 15,000.  I had to finally bring it to the junkyard on sat.   It had 265,000 miles on it and still didn't use a drop of oil.  It had the original timing chain in it.  The last straw that sent her to the junkyard was the speedometer stopped working.

Our 97 Malibu uses about 1/2 qt a year, and we go about 13k miles in it. Filter and oil 1 time a year  cost us about $55. Some say Amsoil is expensive, but $55 a yearfor oil and a filter is peanuts. We have 160k miles on her and have had it sense 98. Never an engine problem except the serpentine belt and a intake gasket. Knock on wood!!!!

  I think Amsoilguy forgot to mention the part about having a limited edition MNO bumper sticker for super low prices.  So far 15 people qualify.     Without the sticker you just get the low prices.
