Late ice pan fish- SHAD DARTS
     I have some shad darts that are going to be field tested by Hunterdowns son and doomanmxz99.   These are a small horizontal ice jig that can be tipped with a plastic tail or live bait.  I am going to send these out to you guys on Monday.  I hope hear  some reports when you get a chance to try them.  I hope we still have ice for a while.  This has been a tough winter and it is going fast.  I hope to try these this weekend as well. I got the call today and the auger will be release from intensive care tomorrow.   I finally got the video camera but the owners manual is thicker than my trucks.  Hopefully I can get it figured out before the ice is gone.  Watch your mail box on Tues.  Wed at the latest.  :happy1:

We have used this style of jig head for summer time walleyes and have had great success.  Great looking jigs!!!

X2....Used something resembling this up in Canada for years for walleyes. I'm sure they'll be killer for pannies down here.

Myself and the boy got out today and used a selection of ATI jigs.  My son couldn't get his line down fast enough with a shad dart.  He was using the orange-yellow-black stripe tipped with a red euro wax worm.

   I tried them this afternoon and couldn't  get a bite with one.  I had hoped they would work.  The secret for me today was no color.  Just plain Daphs.  I am going to have to try the shad darts with no color.

just got home and the jigs were there thanks for the bonus jigs they all look good ill give u the report on the shads next time i go fishing


i sent some pics to my friend of the ati's and he asked me when the thing u tie the line to is on the side insted of ontop becouse the ati's half horizontal and half virdical

DDS got the jigs also today and thanks again. I do have some shad darts close to yours and have done well in the past. Will be going out this weekend so hopefully I will have some pics for you. :happy1:

got them to late in the season last year to try to much but used them a few this summer and was sucsuesfull, there in my top 5 jigs in my box

the dophs are at a three way tie for 1st
