I would like to take a moment and welcome Dakota Case to our team.

Dakota W. Case is a freelance outdoors writer from the little town of Tea, South Dakota. He is twenty years old and is attending college for a degree that is yet to be determined as of now. Dakota was born with a serious congenital heart defect and is currently waiting for a heart transplant.

Never able to play sports in school, Dakota is, however, very passionate about hunting, fishing and trapping and enjoys sharing that passion with others through his writing. He has held an outdoors column in two local newspapers and has been published in North American Hunter magazine and has also been a member of the Professional Outdoor Media Association and is a former Honey Creek Outdoors L.L.C Pro Staff member.

Dakota was a Hunting Associate for the Sioux Falls, SD Sportsman's Warehouse before the store closed in early 2009 and now works in the Receiving Department at Scheels All Sports, also in Sioux Falls. He has appeared on such outdoors shows as Kent Hrbeck Outdoors, North American Hunter-TV and will be featured on an episode of Jim Zumbo Outdoors that will air next season on the Outdoor Channel.

Dakota will be providing us articles from time to time.  Feel free to check out his most recent article located under Hunting Articles.  Found under "Links" in the box on the left hand side of your screen.

Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.
