Again Lake Elysian is the hot spot, shiners, white twister tails (3" and 4") have produced some real nice keepers walleyes and northerns alike. Lake Tetonka and Sakata have been starting to give a few up in deeper water using jigging raps. Ice is coming soon so everybody get your winter fishing gear unpacked and ready.

The walleye bite has still been good at the damn with a hair jig and a minnow or casting plastics into the riprap.  Blue or a red head with a white body seem to be the better colors.  Crappies are still biting in the Baypoint park area too on a jig and a minnow.  Deer harvest numbers are up and the pheasant hunting continues to be good.

If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?
