Hey Greatoutdoors
Hey, G.O.,

How early in the season do you guys start trapping Leeches and how late in the season Is it all over? Does water temp dictate when to start and when to quit? I read years ago that if you feed them in captivity they become sluggish. True or false? :scratch:

Lee,
You can start trapping leeches as soon as the ice leaves the ponds, then quit when they stop trapping, which is normally late July/early August.
Feeding them in captivity is touch and go.
