Found a very nice gently used QUEST compound bow that I guy I know wants to sell. Wondering what kind of experiences people have had with the QUEST bows? I believe it is a 2 year old Hammer model but not positive yet til I see it in person this week, I have only seen pics so far that were emailed to me. Thanks in advance for any feedback

Scott,
I have shot quite almost all of their models over the past three years and have really liked them all. I think they just started making the Hammer in last years line. It's a single cam that has a really smooth pull and kicks out pretty decent speed.
The cam is not adjustable so make sure your draw length matches up with the bow you are buying, otherwise you will have to put a new cam, strings, and cables on it.
If it is in good shape and the price is fair (a new one on ebay is $350-$400 bare bow) I don't think you will be disappointed in the least. Just make sure you shoot it so you comfortable with accuracy, feel, etc.

I was able to get the bow from my friend today to check out and take it out shooting. It is actually a 2-3 year old Fred Bear QUEST. It is a little heavier than most of the "new" bows I have looked at, but I don't reallly want to spend the extra $$ on a new bow right now.

Does anyone else have this particular bow or have you shot it, and what are your experiences with it?

thanks in advance.
