Since the ice fishing season is drawing to a close state wide now, I thought it would be an appropriate time to say thanks to DDS for keeping the Ice Fishing Forum on the up and up this past winter.

So raise a glass or whatever else you have to DDS!   :toast:

(And thanks for making great jigs too!)

Thanks Guys.  I think our conditions early winter shortened the season.  Next year I hope we can get the early cold without the heavy snow so we really do some damage.  There were some new spots I really wanted to try but just couldn't get to them.  I know Lee has been patiently waiting alone in the freshwater forum so we will have to hang with him for a while.  After all the ice will be back in a little over 7 months.   :cold:

Great job DDS.  Thanks for the jigs. The big perch sure loved the ATI-47 with the crooked red hook. Not much red left on the hook. I wish I could have remembered the camera more often. Even the few times I did it wasn't much help. It's a Samsung Digimax 430 which takes real good pictures but I get 3, maybe 4 pictures out of a set of batteries. Thing just eats them right up. Might have to get something better if I sign up for the Challenge.

The MNO community is very fortunate to be graced by the presence of ddsbyday. Scott is by far one of the most thoughtful and willing to help others people I have ever been associated with. The lures he produces not only boat fish but there is a special attraction in using them in the fact you are personally touched by the hands that made them. When I say personally touched it is absolutely by no means to be taken as some kind of gay thing. If there was a MNO hall of fame ddsbyday would get my vote.

Thanks again guys.  Thats enough. I'm starting to tear up.  There is only one way into the MNO hall of fame.  You must win the fishing challenge or Deer challenge.  Lentz put the  mini ati's about 12 inches under a bobber in any real shallow bay  right now and you will be pleased.  Tip them with a couple of wax worms.   That pattern will work for a few weeks.  Best on sunny days.  Make sure you sign up for the fishing challenge too.   That goes for everybody.  Get signed up so we can give Kenhuntin, Lee and Bobby B. some competion.  There have been no repeat winners yet.  Unless one of them is on my team I plan on keeping it that way.   :drinking:
