Fishing continues to be good just outside the Morris Point and Lighthouse gaps.  Gold and pink jigs are working in 10 to 24 feet.  Boats drifting with spinners are also doing well in 8 to 21 feet along Pine Island.  The morning and evening bite has also been good in Four mile bay along the channel. There have also been a few more reports of bigger fish being caught on the lake, a good sign that the females are ready to start feeding.

Once the rain moves through this weekend, the weather looks good for the upcoming week.  Partly sunny and highs in the mid to upper 60s should mean the good fishing will continue.

FISH ON!
