our best estimates put us at about 175 walleyes caught last Friday and Sat on URL.  That was for 3 people. we fished Fri morning for about 3 hours, and then Friday afternoon for about 4 hours, then sat from noon to 3 and sat night 6 to 8 (just two of us that night, the kid was "bored" of catching walleyes). Went through the shiners they had netted on the opener and since Dr. Tackle was out of shiners, we finished up with fatheads and the walleyes were biting just as good on them. Biggest was 25 inches, and all sizes down to about 7 inches. Nice range, all healthy.

Boy I can't wait for another 5 years to pass, so we can get better odds of catching a 30 incher.

Red Lake is going to be the bomb again if we can keep the tribal nets out.  I hope they stick to Mille Lacs for that. ;)

If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?
