looked into it and bought an oregon scientific works ok but quality is very poor. if you want good quality get a go pro camera. they look big and bulky but they really arent.

I have a GoPro HD and love it.  Right now it's attached to the pole of my net.  I caught a nice northern this weekend but didn't have time to turn it on before landing the fish.

Make sure you turn it to silent mode so it doesn't beep when it starts recording.  You'd also want to paint or tape the housing as it's got a light on the front and it's clear acrylic and might reflect light and get you spotted.

I'm sure there's some bow hunting videos with the GoPro on you tube.  Here's a link for a couple of videos from mine mounted on motorcycles: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=nephronracing&aq=f

How are they in low light conditions?  Thats when you see most of your deer anyway.

Thanks, it's the ADD that keeps me in so many hobbies.

I'm not sure how it does in low light situations such as hunting.  I'll see if I can do a test in the next couple of days and post the videos.

I've ordered a harness for my dog that I'll be mounting the GoPro on this hunting season.  I've seen it hooked up to a few dogs in different ways.  I think it should be cool for both upland and waterfowl, especially since it's waterproof.

Yeah, I just looked at your profile.  I'm in St Michael.  I'd be happy to stop by and let you take a look at the GoPro sometime.   See how it could be mounted, etc.  LMK
