how do i know what size to make?

and can i add ear flaps or is that a ton more work.

Did you get the pattern? If so what pattern did you get? trapper if so yes the ear flaps are in the pattern. As to what size to make,,, take a tap and go around your head. this will tell you what size to make. then cut out that size.

The flaps is part of the pattern.
