Fishing is phenomenal on the south shore.  A good mix of walleye and sauger are being caught in 21 to 31 feet.  Lots of “slot” fish are being released.  The river bite has been inconsistent at best.  Patience is the key, if you are going after the river walleyes.

The weather continues to cool, and the water temperature has dipped to 43 degrees.  It’s been great weather for those anglers getting in their last trip of the season.  The cooling trend looks to continue as we head into November.

Our bar and restaurant will be closing for the season on Monday, October 31st.  Our office hours will be 8am to 6pm daily.  Cabins are still available for rent at $25 per person, per night.  Good luck to all the deer hunters next week. Be safe and have fun!

Fish ON!
