That's really cool.  Amazing how the doe circled them while they tried to rescue the fawn.

Nature is a pretty amazing thing. Did you see how the doe was licking the fawns rear end while it fed. That is how they make them go to the bathroom. When I bottle feed this needs to be simulated with a warm wet rag. It also cleans them and keeps the flies away.

Nature is a pretty amazing thing. Did you see how the doe was licking the fawns rear end while it fed. That is how they make them go to the bathroom. When I bottle feed this needs to be simulated with a warm wet rag. It also cleans them and keeps the flies away.

   I am at least a couple hours away from you little buddy, but I respect the fact you would be willing to work. Something not seen from your age group much any more.
   I am down to 7 head these days. I had close to 50 head a few years back along with some elk, but I have started over with some better genetics. The albino I plan to breed with my two remaining does from the old stock just to see if I can throw a few more albino fawns.
