With the holiday weekend, the fishing report is a day late this week.  A good mix of walleye and sauger continue to bite in 30 to 32 feet.  The recent cold snap has made the fishermen work a little harder at enticing the fish to bite.  Anglers actively jigging seem to be having the best luck.  Small gold jigs tipped with a minnow are working well.

Ice conditions are good on our end of the lake with nearly 20 inches of ice.  The lake should continue to make ice throughout the week.  We still suggest that you stay to the marked trails to avoid cracks and pressure ridges

The cold snap looks like it will continue through the week so dress warm!

FISH ON!
