An inside source tells tells me that the avengers are starting to sweat profusely over not begin able to upgrade their points. I won't mention a name but I was told by one of their team members that the infighting amongst themselves has become unbearable.

The best I can do is give out a clue as to who the informant is but, you guys probably won't be able to figure it out anyhow so he'll be safe

    Very nice walleye was posted.  The black and white photo was easy to read and score.    Word to the wise.  Rules are subject to change as this is an ongoing growing contest.  Put your best pic up as the judges will only be scoring your fish once.  All agree???

Thank God the judges don't panic with all the junior judges throwing in their opinions. If the judges would have called my eye 30". Then that's where it would stand. Our judges are concerned with using common sense and working as a team together. Not all this babbling and whining crap. Besides that Borgie didn't even post her big walleye yet.

Well, I didn't expect that kind of feedback from you G.O. I told Borgie to expect willy to bring up a lowlife comment such as your prior statement.  I guess the stress and pressure of the competition brings out the worse in some of the competitors. Or is it just that some folks mouths move faster than their brains? I'm sure willy will be disappointed that you beat him to the punch. On the other hand I'm sure he'll figure out some way to express some lowlife personal attack on our creditability. So if that's the way you really feel I'm sad for you and anyone else that would feel that way.

In a prior year willy made the statement that I probably take photos of my clients fish and enter them in the contest. I take that kind of statement as a personal attack on my creditability. Someone else then posted to willy that was hitting below the belt and that's not right.

Borgie's fish is right up there in the range of mine and we had to work harder this year than most other years. Fishing conditions were we not the best for most everyone in most of the country this summer. Don't try to put Borgie and I in a position of not being forthright and trustworthy because direct personal attacks on creditability is out of bounds.

Smackdown is a fun place and I don't consider myself as thin skinned. I enjoy dishing it out as well as being on the receiving end. But when my honesty/creditability is put on the table I consider that way out of bounds. I apologize for temporarily changing the mood here but, I felt compelled to express my commitment to fair play.

Have fun my smackdown brothers and sisters. Now let's get back to smacking
