no not really. i've seen the guy in action, when he's on the ice he's a busy man! between keepin his customers happy and keeping roads open is a full time and then some job up on winnie.

should be all of 24 inches of ice or a bit more!

Cookie, the perch have been coming out to play when we find them.
it's a hunt and seek sort of bite. what ZI have seen lately is an area that's fishy will remain fishy, but the fish could slide down a hundred feet and an area that was smoking hot yesterday is now void of any keeper fish, but if you move a hundred feet in the right direction, BAM!

it will be interesting to say the least, this week starting tomorrow of actual temps in the mid to upper fifties. the snow will drop fast and I expect the ice will stand up too.
listen for big rumbles when the sun hits the ice and the mercury pushes upward.

the good thing is mobility will be a breaze and hole hoping will be the ticket.
I'll be doing lake clean up this week so if anyone cares to join me lets go. I'll probably use the honda and a trailer just because it's so nice out.

the tulibees are still snappin so if you want some fun catching, they're great smoked and pickled and readily available.

story has it anyone going up to winnie this upcoming weekend, some of the south end resorts are not allowing people to stay out on the lake overnite due to the expected snowstorm on sat nite into sunday.
