                            Spring Signs your seeing?

What signs of spring have you noticed so far in your area?

Yesterday we saw our first robin. He was eating the red berry's left from last fall from off the fence vine. Last week a male and female sparrow started ripping out the old nest from the bird house. Time to build a new nest. All the trees are budding here.

Lots of geese flying north around here in the land of Lincoln. I could hear the racket from inside the house.

Borgie :queen: made me uncover the air conditioner around noon and turn it on today. We reached 81 degrees today. What happened to spring?

Cup And Cone opens to record numbers :doah:

:reporter; ...  Warm temps spur ice cream run

The line outside the Cup And Cone ice cream stand stretched out close to 100 deep shortly after Central Middle School let out on opening day Wednesday, March 14. Owners said record high temperatures led to the craze for cool treats.

Unseasonable weather means early opening for Bemidji area golf courses
BEMIDJI —

The red-winged blackbirds made their way to a swamp near you on Tuesday and, ornithologically speaking, their return is considered a sure sign of spring.

Q. Does The General realy carry fishing rods in his golf bag?

A.  :whistling:
