Hello.
I live in the Albert Lea area. 40 years old, married for 16 years. 1 son, 4 years old.

Hunter, fisherman, occasional camper.

Recently took up archery. Seriously contemplating switching to archery-only hunting.

Usually I fish in Ontario because that's where our cabin is, but I had pretty good luck at one our local lakes hauling in bluegills and multiple types of catfish last fall.

Slowly but surely we're saving up to buy a 40 acre plot of land in St Louis County.

new to MNO.  25 and live in St. Paul.  go to school full-time and also work a lot.

my buddy and I finally have everything we need for ice fishing after making 1 big buy each year for the last few years.

we do most of our ice fishing around the cities.  heard White Bear has an okay crappie bite but not until 5:30 p.m. until about midnight.  we're looking for some good day fishing (my buddy's married so he can't go every weeknight like me), and we're not picky about we catch.

we usually fish the north metro but are open to go where the fish are.

we've had some luck on Bald Eagle, but usually only 1 or 2 keeper crappie for a few hours work, and that doesn't split well between 2 guys.

Just joined today.  Lived in Rochester for awhile now am living in Wisconsin. 
Married 3 wonderful year, no kids just pets.  Really enjoy going to the boundary waters, have been there 20+ times and keep coming back.  Really like to fish, but I'm not great at it.

Welcome JMarc. Where in the BWCA do you like to go? We like the Ely area every summer.

I like the horse river and basswood areas, Poplar lake, mudro lake.  We also go out from Ely a lot of times.  In 2010 we went in at seagull lake, tons of downed timber from a forest fire but bass fishing was great.

Just a little glenn, I recognize yur name from somewhere, i got private land in no qouta east of red lake falls, an going with 3 preference points this year near pinewood west of bemidji. AN you?

we have a cabin west of talmoon or 17 miles east of squaw lake. just a wee bit notrh of bowstring or jessie lakes. should be good this year there was noone around our area bear hunting last fall!!!!!!!!!!

cant seem to get Iaint to computer savy, I go into ad. ops an click brows an open file selct pic the hit post or alt p an in about 30 second I get internet canot display page. any Idea wat im doing wrong?

Im not to tech savy. Pic might be to large. Try using photobucket.  I prefer photobucket because the pics will be larger.

try saving it to paint and then uploading it sounds like the pic is to large and it's timing out when trying to load i had the same problem good luck

Ok ther ya go, My daughters 2012 bear her first an with a crossbow, dad took the producers seat to film you can sse the video on yutube at hunting blue bear,cause he was coverd in blue frosting. He went 320lb greatest outdoor moment of my life. the 9 bear Ive taken or should say been taken of my site since i started bear hunting 11 years ago

First  of all thanks to Boar for turning me onto the site.  Look forward to reading all of your info.  As for me: I'm retired since 2008.  Sold my insurance agency after 24 yrs.  also spent 9 years in law enforcement.  Married to a wife of 35 years who loves to fish.  We have 6 kids and 17 grand kids.  Live in St. Cloud but spend most of the summer at our cabin on Knife Lake north of Mora.  That's my story and I''m stickin to it.        Bill
