Hi, I'm Nancy.  Just finished reading through all the intros.  Looks like a great bunch of guys and gals on this website that SMG pointed me to.

I am president of Conservationists with Common Sense - CWCS, and I try to keep people informed about public land and water issues, especially the Boundary Waters.  Currently we are involved in a lawsuit, having joined the Forest Service in the South Fowl Snowmobile Trail lawsuit.  Izaak Walton, Sierra 'Sue' Club, and others filed the suit to stop a trail because it is toooo close to the Boundary Waters.  I'll post more on that later.

A bit about me... I'm 29w years old. (figure it out) and have been married to the same great guy, Doug, for 34+ years.  eh, that can't be right!  I'm only 29w!!!

We live in God's Country... Ely, MN on Fall Lake.  We have 2 daughters... Megan, almost 29a, married, lives in Maple Grove; and Bridget, 26, single, lives in Hibbing.  We all enjoy fishing and exploring the Boundary Waters for all those places where 'no man has never been before'.  yea, right.

We usually go the push and shove route through Newton to Basswood.  Getting harder to do with my bad knees.  May have to hitch a ride with Lee this spring.

This year's ice fishing didn't start out very well.  Lost my cell phone down the fish hole.  Dang fish won't pick up!

Other than the Boundary Waters, the other passion of ours is snowmobiling.  Haven't had a great start with that one either this year.  Not much snow, but we're supposed to get some this weekend.

I'll try to check in from time to time, but if we get snow... I'm gone.

I think we have all did this at least once, about 10 years ago, I lost my phone in the St. Croix River, it fell out of my pocket and went right down the hole.

About 2 weeks later, my dad was using my NEW cell phone and walked to the portable restroom, he came out a couple minutes later and was laughing, I said "what happened" he said he was laughing at me and how I lost my phone a couple weeks earlier in the River, then he said I just dropped your new phone in the toilet.

Welcome to MNO.

That's cute!   MNO... 'minnow'.   Was the name intentional, or just a nice fluke?

I live in Owatonna, MN, I am 38 years old, have been married for 11 years now, and have a 6 year old son who is my life's joy.

I am a courier with FedEx Express based at the Rochester airport, and my route area is Owatonna and Medford (home of Cabela's)

I have enjoyed whitetail deer hunting with my father and a couple of good friends in Southern MN for the past 17 years or so. My best hunt so far netted me a very nice and symmetrical 8 pointer that i shot at about 90 yards with my Remington 870 Express.

I hope to make it up to the URL area next season to hunt with my good buddy Outdoors_junkie and his clan. I also hope to get out turkey and pheasant hunting this next season.

And...I am an AVID NASCAR fan. Go Denny Hamlin !
