Hi everybody,
I'm sure some of you know me from other boards but I see a lot of new names, so I'll give you the lowdown on just who I am.

My name is Terry Sjoberg but all my friends call me "Ace" a nick name that goes back a long ways. I'm 56 years old, I have 2 children and they have given me 5 grandkids, 3 of them boys.

I have been a professional angler for 22 years. I was a professional tounament angler for a number of years
but now I only fish a couple a year. I spend most of my time guiding now and I like that much more. I do about 120 trips a year, most for Muskies however I also guide for Walleyes, Pike and both species of bass.

I'm married to the most wonderful understanding women on earth, and have been for 33 years now. She let me quit my job and go fishing 23 years ago and she never complained when things were tough the first few years.

We live on the shores of Lake Vermilion with our two labs Coco and Moe. Our kids live in the cities where I grew up. I'm a graduate of Mpls Roosevelt high school and I have a history degree from the University of MN.

I caught my first Muskie at the age of 9 out of the Miss river below the Ford dam. I have been chasing them ever
since. I'm a life Member of the NAFC, vice president of the Arrowhead chapter of MI.
I'm also a member of the Minnesota Muskie guides association, and I'm very involved with the Minnesota Muskie alliance.

In other words, fishing is my life, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I was introduced to MNO yesterday by my new neighbor and am trying to get into the program here.
Fishing is my vocation since retirement and have taken up fly fishing with a passion.
Included, of course, is fly-tying which was a God send when I quit smoking a few years ago.

So much to learn...So little time left. Have to get with it soonest.

Any fly guys or gals out there????

I've been blessed with a wife who loves fishing as much as I do and as a matter of fact, got me started in fly fishing. ( Holds the family size record, too )
