I would like to take a run up to Leech.  I don't think it is going to happen though.  The old tub was in a funk last fall and I may need to test it out a bit before going to my favorite Lake.  If not Leech I will be crappie fishing on the Lake of No Fish and working on the boat.  :banghead:

The Mounds, Pine and Hardwoods. All good spots.  A new boat is not likely this year.  The Obama girls need new shoes.  How selfish  I was to think I deserved one.  :bonk: :bonk:

well I will give those Boys and girls in the fishing challenge what the 2011 open water and 2011 ice challenge champing  will be doing for the opener this year  :dancinred:  Saturday siting back and watching all the fight at the boat landing,  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
That will take a few of you out   :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
not to mention all the DNR will be out to take cares of the **** I want to be fish but they do not follow the laws,

I will be up Sunday morning to bet the second around at the landing  :bs: as some will drink  :drinking: to much the night before there a few that will not make it to the lakes  ;D As most will leave before the sun go down Then Monday nice day with less people on the lakes,
OK here one of my secret on opener I concentrate on what most fisherman do not here what I mean If the water is cold and fish are spawning Most would fish in 4 to 10 feet of water, I would drop back out to the steep drop off, Why if you want a trophy fish, they are first to spawn after do this it take so much out of them they head to the drop off to rest up easy food,  :happy1:

Well good luck to you all and renumber to be safe and have the partition for other  :happy1:

P.S  Make sure to FOLLOW THE LAWS so you can fish another day!!! :dancinred: :dancinred:

Can't remember when I fished an opening weekend, Depending on weather I will be out the following Monday or Tuesday and most likely will be up on the iron range somewhere chasing bass and stories with my buddy Chuck  :coffee:

Well, I'm with Bobby as far as skipping the opener. I haven't fished opener in over 15 yrs. I don't want to burn out before the real fishing starts. I guess if I was to be stuck in the weekend warrior category I'd be out there beating the dead sea to. :whistling:

I see I am not alone in staying off the water on opener. That tradition may change this year and I may fish this one. Perhaps somewhere near Walker
