I hope everyone had a great Easter.  Walleye fishing continues to be good.  The current has picked up some in the river, but the water remains clean.  Anglers are using ¾ to 1 ounce jigs to get to the river bottom.  Shiners are still the bait of choice.

Big sturgeon continue to bite.  Sturgeon are catch and release only up until April 24th, when one may be kept between 45 and 50 inches.  Night crawlers have been working well.

After a cold start to the week, the warm up should begin on Wednesday.  There is a chance of showers as we head into the final walleye weekend of the season.

Fish ON!
