Picked my traditional 1st hatfull of the season yesterday in SE MN!  They have really been popping, despite the cold nights.

After spending part of Friday and most of Saturday at my property, I'd say we are pretty close.  I didn't really look for them but the amount of new ground growth indicates we are close.

Two of my brothers have been hunting them daily since last Wednesday and one has picked 56 pounds and the other 45 lbs.  They got 13 lbs yesterday all in good saleable condition except for about 1 lbs of them.

I am up to about 10 lbs so far, and my oldest kid and nephew have been going out and sold $170 worth so far.  They dropped the price from $16 to $14 already do to the volume they are getting in.  The apple orchard in Centerville WI is where we sell.  I actually don't do enough hunting to sell, mostly just eating shrooms and sharing with the folks and some others who don't get out in the woods much.  So far I've picked dozens of deer ticks off myself and had 3 bury themselves in my skin.

It seems to me the south slopes are petering out already in far SE MN, but the north slopes are popping fresh shrooms daily, and I am seeing a few big yellows on the north slopes already as well.
