I took my grandson on Sunday to the hunting land.  Along with some deer, we saw these Sandhill Cranes and a pheasant.

Did you here them making that prehistoric noise?  Well thats what I think of when they fly over.
Anything that is free is worth saving up for.

Yes, they did the croaking sound.  You can see the female doing the wounded bird routine.  They must have had a young one around because they didn't leave the area.  Really cool.
