I've been hearing about MNO for months from Woody.  I work with him and it's pretty much his only topic of dicussion much of the time.  I don't have access to a computer very often, so that is why I haven't been here earlier. 

Woody had posted a story about my canoe trip I took down the Minnesota River last summer.  Now I am planning another canoe trip only this time with a friend, and this time down the entire Mississippi river.  We plan on shoving off in May.  I'm working out a deal with sponsors to try and get support along the way, as well as some necessary gear, and equiptment we'll need.   Also, Woody and I are going to work it out where he will submit reports of our trip down the ol' Miss. 

I can only hope you enjoy reading about our adventures as much as we'll enjoy the trip!  Thanks MNO for being here, this is a great site and from I hear full of decent people!

Hey Digger glad to see you here on MNO!  Your trip this coming summer should be an excellent time, and I for one look forward to reading your reports along the way.

I could have sworn I posted your newpaper article about last years trip, yet I can't seem to find it-yet.  If I don't find it, I'll re-post it so everyone can enjoy it.
