As the weather continues to heat up it seems the fishing does to. Walleyes on lake Winnie have been biting good in water from 7' out to 12'. Northland Rainbow spinners are still our go to bait tipped with a crawler or a minnow. Covering water over the tops of weeds and trolling 1.0 to 1.5mph seems to be the key. Northern pike up to 35" have been eating this presentation also with alot of Perch mixed in as well. Some of the smaller Waleye factorys continue to produce good also, Bowstring, Sand and others are giving up good numbers in 8' of water with the same spinner and live bait presentation. Lots to do out there so get out and enjoy. Good luck and be safe
