Hmmm,I guess I don't see the difference between the wedge and my old trailer axle tarnsom saver,bottom line function is the same,taking weight off the transom.In any event I'm always amazed seeing rigs running down the road with "zero" support.

Well, "mathematically" it does the exact same thing.

Yamaha even endorses these "wedge" type transom savers.
