ice fishing G-T-G

I KNOW ITS EARLY, but is MNO going to do a g-t-g on a lake sometime this winter?? some of the other posts currently going on and its contents got me thinking it would be a great way to meet up with the "clan"!!!!!

  I think we may be limited to 80 miles from Maple Grove.  I heard fawk's kick    grill only has 80 miles of line so far.

+2. i was going to suggest it only for the rerasons that you can catch a multitude of species from the same hole!!!!!

Sure can I fished there last year for the first time and caught pike, bass, crappie, and walleye and didnt move the house

    It's a good lake.  We were there once before.  If I remember right    HD knocked off the Generals huge pike right at the hole.

I think Minnewaska is an awesome choice there is lots of different species there and tons of structure and holes to set an ice house up on.  That actually where i'm going to be doing about 90% of my fishing this winter

Either lake would be great lets try for early safe ice as the fishing is usually a lot better. I'm in either Lake

Now that ice is forming on the lakes it's got me thinking about ice fishing.  What would people think about planning a early g2g and then a late season g2g?  I think it would be cool to try to get the IFC teams together then everyone can put a face to the fish once everyone gets in the heat of battle, ofcourse it wouldn't just be the IfC participants.

    The board of executives met and after a knock down drag out board meeting have settled on Minnewaska for our first ice get together for this winter.  Leech during Eelpout is another.  We did not come up with a date yet.  It will be a Saturday so get your suggestions in.
