What do ya think? Will we be on the ice by Thanksgiving?

Early ice is my favorite time to chase pike! Tip-up fishing with shinners...what could be better?

 :cold:  I think on smaller lakes there will be a good chance.  I saw plenty of ice this weekend in Orr Minnesota.  Our decoys were freezing up.  Close to an inch of snow and sleet.  I was worried about my truck sliding down the access ramp when removing my boat.  I had a bucket of water on the dock that had a 1/4 inch of ice overnight.  It won't be long. :cold:

Looking at the weather forecast, it looks like I might have to take out the boat one more time to satisfy my fishing fix.  :scratch:

Looks like the only ice ready for thanksgiving will be in the adult beverage selection :tequila;
